Bobur Park

Bobur Park is named after a 15/16th century moghul emperor. It is a sweet little park about 2 minutes from my house (down the alley, across the street). The snow in Tashkent has melted, and the park looks like it's holding its breath, waiting for spring.

Bukhara

The lovely B&B where I stayed.

Where I ate breakfast every morning

At the summer palace of the last Emir of Bukhara.

The Emir fell in love with a Russian princess. He built this little house for her on the grounds of his summer palace, hoping she would come to live with him. She didn't.

Where the Emir's wives and their mothers lived.

another cat.
There was a great photography studio in here.

I am called the cat lady, after all.

I like cats. Get used to it.
