Bobur Park is named after a 15/16th century moghul emperor. It is a sweet little park about 2 minutes from my house (down the alley, across the street). The snow in Tashkent has melted, and the park looks like it's holding its breath, waiting for spring.

The lovely B&B where I stayed.

The Emir fell in love with a Russian princess. He built this little house for her on the grounds of his summer palace, hoping she would come to live with him. She didn't. |

Where the Emir's wives and their mothers lived. |
