My Last Few Months in Istanbul
Ah, those heady days of January and February, when we had no idea of what the rest of the year would bring. I was anxious because I was looking for a new job, but I was happily still wandering around Istanbul, taking more geometry classes, going for dinner with friends, getting my hair cut....

As I was becoming more and more interested in Islamic geometric designs, I began to explore the city in search of designs. I visited the Sulmaniye Mosque for the first time, after three years of saying I had to check it out.
 | And then I walked around the corner (sort of) to Sehzade Mosque. This green stone at one time marked the very centre of Istanbul.
